Balarang Public School is located on an attractive landscaped four-hectare site at Oak Flats in the city of Shellharbour. The school, which opened in 1968 continues to provide educational services for the students from the immediate area (70%) whilst drawing 30% of its enrolments from the wider Shellharbour area.
The school aims to provide a happy, safe and challenging learning environment where students develop a strong respect for others and a positive attitude for lifelong learning.
Balarang Public School is highly regarded for its well balanced educational programs backed up by experienced staff, extensive teaching resources, modern technology and a progressive library. These facilities have been provided by the active support of the whole school community.
