The school canteen is open each school day and a wide variety of nutritious food is available. Children are able to order their lunch each day by writing their name, class and order on a paper bag and placing it in the box at the canteen each morning before school.

Balarang Public School is a nut aware school. We have a number of children enrolled who suffer from severe food allergies (anaphylaxis). Our canteen does not sell any product containing nuts. Children are asked not to bring any food containing nuts to school.
